Become a Vendor
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BECOME A VENDOR AT EITHER OF OUR MARKETS WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU
The Market Ladies are committed to ensuring we present the best possible experience for the public and all our stallholders, so we like to have a good understanding of the products introduced at our market. To do this, we ask you to provide us with a few photos of your work or a Facebook page, Instagram or website link to view, and a brief description of the types of product you intend to sell. You can scroll down to read the information specific to each market before submitting an expression of interest. If you wish to become a food vendor at either of our markets you must also hold a current food licence.
The booking process
After reading through this process, you can read through the specific Canopy Night Market or Artisans Market information in the sections below.
Fill out the Expression of Interest form below - you must provide an email address so the organiser can contact you if needed.
If you have not already provided a link to media in the ‘expression of interest’ form, please send photos to tima@themarketladies.nz as soon as you have submitted your expression of interest.
Once your information is received, you will go onto our database and when bookings for the season open you will be invited to join us. Bookings generally open mid to late July. If your products or stall does not meet our criteria Tima will contact you directly via email.
Once bookings open, Tima will send out our Information Pack and Booking Form link so you can book your stall. Please take the time to read all the information provided in the information pack - it’s all important. Applications will only be accepted using the booking form. Your inclusion in the market will not be confirmed until payment is received.
Once your booking is received Tima will send you a booking acknowledgement. Note: this can take a few days, so please ensure you allow plenty of time.
Michele will send you an invoice for your site booking, which includes all payment and due date details. All payments must be made by electronic banking - we do not accept cash on the day.
After payment is received you will be added to the site map on your selected dates. Unpaid stall bookings will not be allocated a site.
PLEASE NOTE: The vendor application may take over a week to process, so please don’t delay in starting your application. The process (including payment) needs to be fully completed by the Monday prior to a market day in order to be included in that market.
